KATHMANDU, DEC 12Nepal cricket captain Paras Khadka was named the brand ambassador of the National Life Insurance Company Limited (NLIC) for two years on Wednesday. The company also provided national cricketers with a life insurance of Rs 1 million for three years. Similarly, the sister organisation of the company, NLJ rewarded the cricketers with accident insurance worth Rs 5,00,000 for one year. This includes all cricketers who were on the payroll with the Cricket Association of Nepal.Coach Pubudu Dassana-yake was feted with Rs 51,000 for guiding Nepal to the 2014 ICC Twenty20 World Cup in Bangladesh. Khadka’s endor-sement amount is yet to be determined.
