KATHMANDU, DEC 12 - Manang Marsyangdi Club has entered the semi-final of the Ncell Cup Football tournament underway in the capital on Thursday.
In the quarter-final match held at Dasarath stadium on Thursday, MMC defeated Nepal Police Club by 2-1 to book a place in the final four of the tournament.
NPC took the lead with a goal by Rabin Shrestha in the 29th minute of the first half. It was neutralized by MMC's Sujal Shrestha in the 68th minute of the match.
MMC's foreign recruit Yona Elias scored the winning goal for his team in the 86th minute of the match.
MMC is the fourth and final team to join the semi-final following Tribhuvan Army Club, Sankata Club and Boys Union Club.
